- I've just been given me a used US Robotics internal modem for which the
- packaging and documentation were lost, and I'd like to know what it is and
- how to get documentation. Here are some things about it:
-
- PC internal board, 131mm x 92mm
-
- External panel has two MJs, one marked PHONE and the other TELCO;
- also a line of 8 DIP switches, currently set 1-2-4-6-7 OFF,
- 3-5-8 ON; the panel is marked "SPORTSTER"
-
- Markings printed on the board:
-
- FCC REG NO: CJEUSA-65828-FA-E
-
- US Robotics / COPYRIGHT 1994 / 1.012.0266-C / MODEL 0266
-
- GX B-VO / 1894
-
- Sticker: Industry Canada 550 5315 A
-
- Near the connector edge are two arrays of jumper pins. One marked
- "COM" with four pairs of pins marked 1-4 is jumpered at 2; the
- other, marked "IRQ" with five pairs of pins marked 2-3-4-5-7, is
- jumpered at 3.
-
- Some possibly interesting chips on the board:
-
- AT&T / T 7525 EC / 94135 1734774
-
- US ROBITICS / 19-265 / SU EB7B / 04/21/94
-
- NEC; this one is covered by a barcode sticker with the
- number 0002760206826187
-
- What do I have and how does it work?
